Take It to the Streets

Grace is unexpected. Grace sneaks up on us, surprising us with goodness and reminding us that we are loved. At Vintage Fellowship, grace happens.

Throughout the fall, we will be taking grace to the streets with a series of servant evangelism projects geared to showing people that there is a new church for Northwest Arkansas.

We will be doing several semi-random acts of kindness which will brighten the day of the people impacted while informing them about Vintage.

Today, at the intersection of Joyce and College in Fayetteville, we gave away 287 granola bars to commuters headed to work. We hope those folks have a little brighter Friday because of Vintage.

Love it! This reminded me of the passage in “Velvet Elvis”, “Here’s a toaster. Jesus loves you.” General, out of your way kindness without expectation can make such a difference! I believe that too often churches get caught up in converting and witnessing in the name of their church and forget the impact of small acts of genuine kindness in the name of God’s love. Granola to a sleepy commuter can change an entire day! Way to go!

Thanks, Triere. We had a good time doing it and are looking forward to our Take It to the Streets iniative next week. Hope you are doing well!
