“Sameness. Tameness. Lameness.”
These words describe so many of our church experiences. It is easy for churches to get stuck in a rut, doing the same thing over and over and over again. And in the process, they lose the power and the mystery of it.
At Vintage, when we gather to worship, we are always trying new and fresh ways to connect with God.
Sometimes our worship gatherings are loud and celebratory. Sometimes they are quiet and reflective. Sometimes we seem kind of traditional with hymns, preaching, and communion. And sometimes we are doing art or service projects together.
We try to leverage art, history, culture, music, film, poetry, liturgy, and just about anything else we can think of to make our worship gatherings both intellectually engaging and emotionally stimulating. We believe that God is creative and therefore really enjoys creative worship.
